High Score Challenge (Technical)

Entry Fees
Entry fees will be set at $5 per contestent. Entry fees will be used as prizes for the top 3 contestants.
Qualifications
Everyone that enters go through qualifications if necessary. Scoring will be based on the DDR Magic 3 Scoring System. Each player will play "Let's Groove" 2x, and will use their highest score. Only the top 32 will continue. Freeze Arrows will be disabled in qualifications, but not in eliminations. In the event of a tie at 32nd place or above, the contestents with the tied score will compeat head to head on roulette on Light. Players will be placed in the draw NCAA Style.
Eleminations
After qualifications, the remaining contestants will play head-to-head based on the DDR Magic 3 scoring system. Each contestant will choose 1 song to play, so each player will end up playing 2x per round. Player scores will be added up, determining a winner for each braket. After each group has gone, there will be a 10 minute break between rounds. The rounds will proseed as follows: Light (Basic) (32 contestants @ 3-4), Standard (Trick) (16 contestants @5-6), Heavy (Maniac) (8 contestants @ 7 feet), Heavy (4 contestants @ 8 feet), Heavy (2 contestants @ 9 feet).
Prizes
Once the winners have been determined, prizes will be given to the top 3 contestants. The prizes are as follows:
1st place - $50 plus 50% of entry fees, $10 gift certificate from Buzzard's CDs and 1 Anime DVD from the Anime Cafe
2nd place - $30 plus 30% of entry fees, $10 gift certificate from Buzzard's CDs and 1 Anime DVD from the Anime Cafe
3rd place - $20 plus 20% of entry fees, $10 gift certificate from Buzzard's CDs and 1 Anime DVD from the Anime Cafe
Other prizes may become avalible as we collect sponsors.

Light: 3-4 feet
Standard: 5-6 feet
Heavy(1): 7 feet
Heavy(2): 8 feet
Heavy(3): 9 feet
Contestents will play head-to-head (2 at a time)
Sports drinks will be provided to players from Fred Meyer
Gift certificates provided by Buzzard's CDs
Anime DVDs provided by Anime Cafe
Cash prizes provided by Masterman Vending and Paradise Bowl & Casino
